Let's be honest, once again we've drawn, but this is ANOTHER win for the "pessimistic realists" over the "delusional realists" <ok>

If we get top 10 like some of you have been preaching, I will rim ACS when he puts his arse in Fenwicks window <laugh>

    Not quite at MrT's level of pessimism, but this has obviously been on the cards. The positives;

    1. Haidara gives us much more impetuous down the left (especially linking up with Aarons), shame he can't defend for ****.
    2. Aarons showed his quality, cracking prospect.
    3. Siem showed some nice touches around the opposition box.
    4. Coloccini adds to our attacking play quite a bit
    5. Mixed up our set-plays quite nicely, none really executed well though.

    The negatives

    1. Cabella has yet to show any quality whatsoever. Ben Arfa..................................................> Ben Arfa on a normal day >Ben Arfa on his worst day >....................................................................................................................................@................................................................................................................>Cabella
    2. Our defensive players aren't good enough. I'm glad the Williamson spunkathon can finally quit it. Good finish from him today though!
    3. Nobody looks like scoring 10 a season, never mind more.
    4. Tim Krul
    5. Nobody takes control of the game and shows the experience required to get us through when we're winning.

Slight change of system today, and what we've learned is, either we can be more attacking and concede ****ing loads, look crippled against pace, or we can play defensively and take narrow defeats/hold on for draws. Least we scored! But genuinely, poor poor start to the season.

Gotta say fair play to him tho. I felt the same as tiote-san but put it dowb to my intense pessimism. Anyway a few points I can think of:
Sissoko get out of our team, the man thinks he plays for chelski. Great runner oh yes but only when wer on the break and to me tht only accentuates the fact he cant pass, can rarely shoot and his decision-making is akin to an 11-ywar old tht thunks hes it. He gets in tge way of attacks abd thinks he dunt have to defend, I fukin hate watching him flouncing around for 80 mins like a fukin diva.
If someone said to me le gouff or zaha id pick zaga everytime, regardless of defensive frailty
Some might disagree but our two full backs impressed, probs the only ones in the starting 11 tht did!
Cabella and de jong, how dyu fit em into the team together? I dont think its doable, cabella looks lost oj the wings and de jong looks fukd without a gud striker to play off....
Whicj brings me to riviere, I can give this man time but he did fuk all. In fairness the constant punting into the box agaimst a palace defence didnt help him at all, do we plan against teams tht arent in the top four? Cos watching willo and colo do tht same embarressing distrobution as last season suggests we dont
We were lucky to draw and we can try ajd argue its the playera or its early days but fukin hell pards has been here long emough for me to have expected periods of promising football by now. I havent and we meed a change of manager before benni goes, we need all the passion we can get

Feeling frustrated and Pardew's post match utterances only make things worse. As they always do.

Pardew post match waffle condensed: We should have won. The home crowd's excitement cost us the match, as did a focus on attacking training this week. Two excuses for the price of one.

**** it, I know the result is disappointing. However, chuffed for Aarons to get off the mark in the league, this guy is a different class to all the other recent academy prospects we've endured recently. Even more chuffed for Mike Williamson, 4 1/2 years and finally a goal for him. He so deserves it, all hail Iron Mike.
