    Didn't do his chances many favours today bar that cross. He was poor and hugely frustrating again.

    Cisse had a good game today. Seemed really up for it. It looked like there had been some work put in on the training ground.
    Gouff seemed to want to play a bit deeper than normal.

    Krul 6 - Didn't have much to do
    Mbiwa 6 - Did ok but he is pretty thick. Tries to pass through people at times.
    Dummett 7 - Solid
    Willo 9 - Fantastic display, faultless really
    Colo 8 - We really do miss him when he's out
    Tiote 9 - Another very good display
    Anita 7 - Tidy display, gets easily overpowered at times
    Sissoko 7 - Good work rate, didn't offer much going forward
    Gouffran 5 - Pretty much anonymous, not one of his better games
    De Jong 5 - Just not at the races today
    Cisse 7.5 - Good game but missed loads of chances. Grabbed the goal in the end though.

    Shola 5 - Another 14 torturous minutes for fans
    HBA 6 - Gets bumped to a 6 because he did create the goal. Poor otherwise.
    Marveaux - No mark, didn't have enough time to disappoint

    I thought he looked more lively when he had the ball today - more likely to do something with it. Off the ball his movement was poor - he just seemed to jog slowly around like he was conserving energy or impersonating Shola. Still looks unfit and heavier than he should be.

    where is the Everton match day thread ???

    I'm not happy about the referee appointment for this game <grr>
    Mike Jones from Chester - he of the offside goal that should not of been against Man City
    he that resides only 18 miles from Everton, why he might even get a lift here on the team bus

    another suspicious appointment from the FA

    How the **** does that work? Why cannot they not just appoint someone from the south? We'll have to hope he feels guilty about last time.................more chance of Shola scoring
