Chelsea perhaps, but Man City - no. We never get a result against them at home. Last time was surely the relegation season?

No we never get a result, but we have been fairly unlucky at home to Man City. Usually just Toure spoiling the game by being too good. Last year we lost 2-0 at home but there was of course the Tiote screamer ruled out. We also lost 2-0 AET in the cup. 2012-13 we got beat 3-1 but were right in the game until Toure killed it. Got up a proper head of steam 2nd half. 2011/12 we were alright but Man City were going for the title and were just too good, again inspired by Toure.

For some reason we seem to give both them and Chelsea tough games.

With the exception of last night Sunderland always do as well. Think Chelsea will beat us probably 2-0.

If I was Alan I would be telling them that this is a chance to just go out there and spoil the party. Someone has to beat them. I'm gonna stick my neck out and predict it's going to be us.

Wouldn't like to say who it will be, but someone will beat them. I really do hope it is us though.

Am I right in thinking that Mourinho has never won at St James' in the league?

I think we'll turn them over. Sissoko [who will be back] always seems up for the Chelsea games. I suspect we will be up for it.

Yes, but all run end eventually, look at Sunderland the other night. They'd never lost at home to City since the Sheikh took over there.

Elliott, Janmaat, Colo, Taylor, Dummett, Tiote, Colback, Sissoko, Sammy, Cabella, Perez

Alnwick, Williamson, Haidara, Anita, Gouffran, Cisse, Rivierre

Abeid must be injured because he hasn't even made the bench.

Powerful line up that in terms of speed, strength etc.

I think I have missed something, why were the players standing between each other at the start?

Chelsea have had more shots at goal in 20 minutes than in 90 minutes last week

Really starting to like Colback a lot. He's been absolutely cracking.

Very good game so far considering the score. Ayoze has that nice cf type hold up play. No strength but always picks the right pass. Cabellas having a struggle.
