We had more shots than Arsenal, more on target and more possesion. And I wasn't expecting to be able to say that either!

Shows we do have it in us to show some desire to win and put in the effort to do so, what we need to know is what the hell Carver said at half time that motivated them to do it, given that it sounds like at 2-0 in the first half we were about to fall to pieces.

Wish we'd shown the performance in the first half that we did in the second. Properly gave arsenal the run around, they had nowt after half time.

We only showed some motivation once the game was effectively over. We still lost at the end of the day and despite some heart being shown in the 2nd half, I know it will count for nothing when we lose against those ****s in two weeks.

Disagree on the basic point that the game wasn't over at 0-2 as we very nearly and could have showed in that very positive and good second half performance.

What is it with Newcastle? We are utter sh.te in the 1st half yet look like really up for it in the 2nd half. Battled as if their life depended on it. Here is hoping that this mind set is carried forward to the Derby.

Was really pleased with Jonas's performance today. Continues to improve and no-one can doubt his commitment to the team. Keep up the good work Jonas. By the way thought Janmaart was superb at CB today.

    Cabella

I thought that only Anita had a really poor game. Even Gouff made a few key interceptions during the spell when Arsenal were threatening to run away with things. Sammy proved yet again that he is **** at doing the basic things but frustratingly good at times at doing the complicated things. Janmaat was immense at CB and showed what a good signing he was, Cabella was as good as I have seen him, and Perez yet again showed why we did so well to snap him up.

We really gave a ****. I didn't expect that. Happy as fook I lost money as i'd have paid £50 for my team to act like it cared... Just like it did today.
I saw fight today. Now we need to carry this spirit on into the next game :)
    Perez was amazing at times.

You lot made me worry a lot during the 2nd half. Don't know where the fight back came from but it made the game enjoyable (and gave me many mini heart attacks). Play like that for the full 90 and you'll be fine for the rest of the season. Just beat Liverpool <ok>

Whatever team you support they are not going to win every game, so what I look for is commitment, in that respect today you had nothing to grumble about

Pleased with the efforts but can't help wonder what could have been if we had a couple of decent centre backs and more of a squad generally. Willo shocking. Sammy shocking. Gouf shocking. Sissoko played a half again. Perez isolated again. Cabella promising again. Janmaat impressive. Raylor impressive (except dead balls), Colback solid. Anita good. They tired badly and we should have taken advantage. Again ignore the bullshit about Carver, players, the board are responsible for games and results like this. No one else. It is impossible to judge any of them fairly given what we are going to war with.

Sammy, willo and Gouff must surely be out the door in the Summer.
Woefully short of the standard we need in the PL, woefully short.

Hopefully that's who Carver is including in his comments about needing a summer 'clear-out', but knowing the club, it will only involve anyone of any £££ value.
