I wonder if Newcastle being under investigation by HMRC and potentially facing a transfer embargo/points deduction/relegation, has anything to do with Ashley selling up... Seems to much of a coincidence he's done this now and trying to rush it through in a couple of month, just after he lost his appeal with the courts, desperately trying to stop the investigation that's happening. This will surely put potential buyers off.
