I defend Pards a fair bit against what I see as a lot of unjustified criticism. However sometimes, he doesn't know when to shut up. If this report is accurate and he uttered that last line, it is just about the most cringeworthy statement I've heard. Why? Unless he is trying to fire Fulham up for their first game of course? Really though why doesn't he just write Jol's pre match team talk for their visit to St James for them.
