I would love Mitrovic to be top scorer, but did we not all see what he missed in the PL? I mean, we're not talking about being thwarted by De Gea, we're talking about fluffing simple chances against already-relegated Villa. He just isn't a natural finisher, cliched though it sounds. I'd argue at least Arma, if not Perez as well, would be better guarantees of goals if Aarons, Wijnaldum and Townsend are supplying chances. We need a proven striker, end of. Some say McCormack, my preference is Forestieri. Hell, I'd love us to offer that £21m Berahino money for Andre Gray - we should have done that in January. We then need a LB, and a CB. Bong and Caulker/Dunk for me. A sturdy midfielder to replace the likely departures - Leroy Fer or Tom Huddlestone would be ideal - and that's us set. Ultimately we have Rafa in charge. We have 50,000 at home matches. We have at least £21m in the bank, plus sales. Which player wouldn't rather be part of our set up than anyone else's in the league? We may have to pay through the nose, but we have the pick of anyone we want.
