Just seen that the club have stated our allocation is 'subject to initial sales'. Be good to know what the criteria is there, ie how many do we need to have shifted and by when to stop us sending a load back?

Surely they'll take us up to the first leg? A good result there will probably tempt another 500-1000

So I was right?

So I was right?

Nah I'm reading it the other way that we'll send some back if we don't sell x amount by a certain date. There's certainly no chance well sell 3k in a matter of days - we've not even done that for London games on Saturdays this season.

So I was right <whistle>

So it could get to Friday and you have even less of a chance?

It also said something like “tickets will be sold in a sellable order dictated by Newcastle”. So presumably that means they’ll start selling from one end so any leftover will all be in the same block for home fans to buy.

I looked on Newcastle’s site and we’ve given them 3,200 for their allocation. Definitely going to get Geordies in the home end:

“The Magpies have been given a maximum allocation of 3,200 - ten per cent of the capacity at St. Mary's, as per Carabao Cup regulations”

I can't buy till Monday anyway but I wonder if they'll make a decision before then to send some back.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see what blocks people end up in who buy later this week as that will tell us a lot. They'll go in this order:

L7M
L7L
L7K
L7J
L7H

Won't be that easy as you had to have been on the database since the 11th of January to buy tickets.

Train strikes announced for the day after the 2nd leg (1st Feb) so that may impact people's plans.

FFS, we are due to travel back on 1st Feb via train. I called The Trainline and they said nothing has been announced to them yet, so I need to wait for their update. They said we'll either be able to travel on another service, if one's running, or if they're all cancelled then we're entitled to a refund. But that doesn't really help us getting home.

11 hours on a coach sounds horrendous. I might have a car space or two if willing to chip in on fuel?

Probs won't know for sure until next week though.

Thanks for the offer libs I'll bare that in mind. Be me and my nephew. We ain't the smallest of people though lol

Home leg tickets bought <diva>

Thousands left - looks like plenty of STH's aren't bothering.

I also had a print at home option which people said earlier in the week they didn't get so I'm guessing it wasn't deliberate and they fixed whatever the issue was.

First time poster here. I'm having issues over getting tickets for the home leg. Onto the website and click the match but then nothing shows up (only Villa and Wolves. No Newcastle or Blackpool at home.) Am I doing something wrong here?

I had that - you need to try going in another way. Can't remember which way round but if you've gone through main site try ticket site instead (or vice versa).

Had an email from the club this morning asking if I wanted to buy extra tickets, so yeah; sales must be slow, which I find a bit surprising since £20 isn’t a lot for a semi final
