Just had a gander at the mags board they actually think that now it’s officially been turned down it’s happening
I love the Premier Leagues stance on this. They pulled out, but we are going to tell you anyway, they weren’t ****ing acceptable. I can tell you right now Ashley’s ‘legal options’, the Premier League is effectively a private business with its own rules and regulations, if they’ve told you to **** clean off, there isn’t a single ‘legal’ route you can take. The Premier League is the Premier League. It’s owned, regulated and authorised by the Premier League.
It's like the PL thinks they've had long enough to get over it now so they're sticking the knife in and twisting it for fun.
Just had a look on their board and there's quite a few of them think this means it's still on, crazy bastards. Entertaining for us the longer they drag it out I suppose.
Morons man. That’s the PL saying ‘if you think this can be reincarnated, we are telling you, **** off’ Done and done.
Literally like seeing the last nail being hammered in the coffin and thinking "oh, maybe that will wake them up" We've had our share of disappointments and maybe one or two have gone into PC World to shout at a Dell laptop but we don't embarrass ourselves like they do.
George Caulkin on Twitter saying, this latest knock back by the Premier League is for a second takeover bid that’s been going on behind closed doors for over a fortnight. He reckons the club and bidders were convinced it would have been approved on Tuesday. They got the knock back yesterday, hence the statement. If Carlesberg did takeovers
That actually makes it funnier, ****ing up with not one but two takeovers. Guess they'll shout twice as loud at the Premier League.
By my reckoning, that makes the mags 3-1 up in the ****ing up a takover score. Knew there would come a day when they would be better than us at something.
convinced agent cashley is happy to dangle these carrots every year, he may well want to sell and be rid but am i the only one who thinks he is going to make them suffer a little longer?...remember, he was 'conned' when he agreed to buy the club, took so much stick despite throwing loads of money in and because they have been allowed their 'auto euro slot' the fans despise him. our take-overs, despite a far smaller profile have been relatively smooth
I don’t see why he’d really want to sell. He’s got them it’s such good financial shape that the club is a money press for him. £350 million is all well and good, but he’s got a constant stream of money from his big, fat cash cow.
He has yeah and as a relatively young bloke you'd think he'd want to stay on long term especially with losing money on Debenhams (was it?) and I heard Sports Direct is struggling. I can see him sticking with it until retirement age then sorting a deal out himself.
Not what I've heard and his sentences were longer than yours ... ... so I'll stick with him, no offence
Whatever happened to the American TV fella, Henry Mauriss, who was waiting with a cheque for £350m if the Saudi Big failed ... ... he said he'd be in control by the end of September. How long can a takeover take before it's over?
