Just had a look over the road and their posters are saying that NUFC tried to withhold the result!! Nothing on their social media about it. <laugh>

I had a laugh with one of my Mag family yesterday.

She couldn't find the result so did a search and it came up on a Sunderland Twitter account ...

... we're lucky to have them as neighbours, always something to laugh at.

Perhaps Lee Ryder could replay the match on a computer game until they get their desired result?

<laugh> I’m using the “up north” as they’re further north than us. Nothing detrimental to our club

Correct but geographically you travel up from Newcastle to Sunderland, we are closer to the sun.

They only claim it because the public like it ...

... if it was an object of ridicule they'd say it was ours.

I've never had a lot of time for the concept of Tyne & Wear.

I started off in County Durham, and, in my mind at least, I haven't
    moved.

The Tyne is the dividing line and when Mr Riddley wrote his ditty it was celebrating the hordes from N/C making a bee-line for Blaydon, in County Durham, to have a good day out.

Does this make that song a Northumbrian anthem, or a County Durham one??
It was after all The DLI that claimed the music for it's quick march, not the Fuseliers!!

Same for me. Shields was, and still is to my mind, County Durham, not South Tyneside.
