He's a good player Marveaux, in fact a few years back he was expected to be a top, top player, but he never really stepped up. He's a left footer, which suggest that Ben Arfa will get his wish and play in the middle, as Marveaux wouldn't physically make it in the centre of the park in a competitive league like ours. From our perspective, this is a move that surely ends the Toon's interest in N'Zogbia, as if they had 3 left footed players in the midfield, they would be extremely unbalanced. My concern if i was a Toon fan, would be where is that steel, resilience and leadership that was ther big strength last year, and the thing we wished for the most going to come from? It's all over the news over here that the dirty bastards up the road (Sevilla, i've been trained in this already...), will sign Collocini, and if this was to happen, where would the grit come from? HBA? Flair, skill, tricks. Leader? No. Same for Marveaux, Cabaye is vocal on the park, but not physical. Tiote for captain is my guess, and he'll be the man expected to protect the entire midfield, so you'll have to hope he's as good as you lot think.
