Silence is deafening, Blunham. In my experience, it's a sign of guilt. No reason why you couldn't have continued with the conversation. I would have defended myself, if I had nothing to hide.
It's ignore it time till it goes away. I know how frustrating it is mate. Everyone will be along to tell you how it's a thankless job blah blah when they're not the ones being mugged off. Wolf in sheeps clothing that bloke. He's more than happy to make you look a dick and lie thought his teeth. That's why I was ready this time.
Maybe time to do a mod swap. Those with views on how it should be done should try doing it. Natural order of things.
Does me nut in, mate. I don't see anything they do. I see mods on other boards looking after the posters and chasing posters of other teams away when things get heated, regardless of who is right or wrong. We don't get any of that and if we question it, it's always the 'you don't see what goes on behind the scene' ****. Blunham quite clearly seen me on the Newcastle board being attacked about my mental health and suicide attempt. He went on and basically sided with them about us being there and what we were doing there. He then seen JC go full on attack mode and drag my daughters into it. He simply logged off and pretended not to see it. We know he was online, his account tells us that.
Not sure they're able to stop it. It's always been a board decision, never a forum decision. That said... If you took it on you would have to deal with them quite often but I'm sure you'd manage. I think you and Bri should have a crack at it along with someone else the two of you feel you can work with. I can't imagine the mods are having a good time at the moment. I imagine you guys would rather not have to make said complaints. And I'm pretty sure those involved can't be added reading it. I think change is good, keeps things fresh, gives everyone perspective.
I think Bri would be fine with the right co-mods supporting him so it's not a massive burden or too time consuming but that's his shout.
I kept a way for a while and hadn't been around much myself until that clown piped up. The kid liked to give it but cried like a bitch once I started to circulate pictures.
