He's probably wonders why didn't he throw more at in the summer because that's where our problem lies. This is now trying to salvage something from a sinking ship - and money might not be enough.
Two teams bereft of goals and a defender bangs two in! The Udders and Magpies were the teams we needed to beat and failed miserably. Sorry, shoving the new guy on wasn't what we needed. The defence went to rat **** the last time Morrison was injured (Dec 2017) and we lost 4 on the bounce. I hope history doesn't repeat itself. Thus far this season Morrison has been less than impressive, but I guess his leadership qualities are going to be missed more than his pace (sarcasm). Arter is out, anyone know why? Ralls is a poor replacement (IMO), Gunnar on the bench, but weren't both Paterson and Camarasa injured last week? Are they fully fit now? I think there was a better selection to be made there. Angry, pissed off and tired, two winnable games and no points, I'm off to bed. G'night folks.
If that's the only addition we're going to get then I must say I agree. Anyone new up front is only going to be as good as the supply chain. If we're prepared to spend a similar amount on an effective "No 10" then fair enough. Otherwise we might as well go with what we've got from today's performance and against Huddersfield - we were very lucky to even get a point from both games.
