  3. I think the Manure home game on the 4th of Jan will be a sell out.

I haven't been this season. Got laid off 2 months ago and don't start my new job until next week so hopefully will be able to go after that

Well this was a terrible shout wasn't it? 48,000 for Wigan, including their 23 fans...

Would have hit the 50k mark if they would have brought 2000 instead of 400...

Read it on NUFC.com so assumed it was true , although I wouldn't be surprised if there were only 40.

Been to Wolves & Villa away, and going to Stoke on the 31st. No home game yet, only go to 1 or 2 per season. Away games are my bread and butter.

The original post wasn't to have a pop at fans but just to say times are bloody hard , so maybe not to build up our expectations.......but at 48,321 that was great news......curious about the effect/result of the £20 walk-up early bird offer.

Yesterday was our highest attendance of the season so far... and that was with a mere 300 Wigan fans. Considering Spurs bought 3000 last week and the attendance was lower, we can be sure the attendances are increasing.

No problem, but would you not say its a relevant bump? One game after the post and we beat 47,000 in a Cat C game against Wigan.

Regards the walk up offer its clear that they didn't shut the turnstile at two. When I arrived around twenty to three there were two extra blocks filled in Level 7, but people were still filtering in until around twenty minutes after kickoff to fill a third. From (distant) memory thats 20 odd rows of thirty people, times three is close enough 2000 extra tickets sold. Great idea from the Pieman.

I don't see 47,000 is bad! As you say it could be a lot worse. The financial climate as well as people not going because of the fat man will factor in to it.
