Imo Newcastle fans are getting way ahead of themselves. They are having a great season for them but the way some of their fans are acting is pathetic, you would swear they had won the champs league for the last 3 years in a row, it's understandable I suppose because they did'nt expect to do well but to be honest I dont see them getting a champs league place and they will finish with no trophys and a Europa league spot.
Rubadub - i think you mean "some" Newcastle fans are getting way ahead of themselves. Most of us are too long in the tooth to expect anything other than a complete implosion of the team/squad/club/region. The number who seem to be enjoying sticking the knife into Liverpool and its fans is suprising as i don't really see that we have any grudges but "some" Liverpool fans aren't exaclty gracious nor reasoned either so i guess its to be expected on occassion. For what its worth i think next season you'll do better but it'll just be that Newcastle and Liverpool will swap places in the league - i simply can't see you competing for big trophies at the moment, just part of the 4-place scramble. Its a shame than football has come to this...
I did mean to say some. And I know every team has gracious fans and not so gracious fans and I have said it about some of our own fans in the past.
