You know what appealed most of all. "set piece specialist" When did we last have someone who could take set pieces? Seriously.

Yohan could ping a free kick but his corners were ****e. I know we've ahad Raylor but he has been injured for yonks. Guthrie and Barton were just ok.

    Emre?

I think Perez will find his way into the starting line-up this season. He's much more promising that Almafitamo was. I like what we did with that kid. He's one of the top 5 players in liga adelante. How much would a top 5 player cost from the championship? 8million probably? Ings, Mccormack, Rhodes, Vokes, and Austin? I think that we got a bargain on him.

Sadly though he's probably not a miracle worker and were probably going to struggle.

Time's a funny old thing. We've mostly conveniently forgotten that Alan Pardew's still a fcking useless pile of w@nk. Like a few signings will somehow grant us the gift of tactical awareness, or teamwork, or managerial excellence....

    My mistake.

In other news, Aubameyang is apparently available from Dortmund for a cut price 8m euros. Kudos to the United team if they secure this lad, he's the lwf to die for in our league.

I know we should have much better, but i think that the lack of spending and pressure on the starters from our reserve doesn't help. the truth is that we did have an attacking side under pardew. When we finished 5th we looked really good (remembering that 3-0 stoke city murdering). I personally don't think pardew should be here, But i do think id prefer ashley out over pardew.

Rubbish. We hit Hull 4-1 under Pards. But we got murdered vs Everton, Sunderland, Liverpool, Spurs, Wigan, Sunderland, Brighton, blah blah blah. We had a counter-attacking side at best. There are equal failings on both sides. Both should be gone.

We looked like **** in that 4-1 though. They had an own goal and figueroa passed the ball right to remy. I'm not saying he's the best but he's more competent than he gets credit for... Hopefully mike spends some money ffs
