Exactly. There are many that will fight to the death for your right to agree with them, but woe betide you if you take a contrary position. I'm not totally clear on what these days is true racialism, or homophobia, or sexism, or many other '-ophobias' as the elite has done a fine job stifling legitimate debate by smearing many innocent, honest people with these terms. Something for another time or never, methinks.

I know, they cant do that after all, hes not very well educated and swears a fair bit but hes just not the type even though hes a legend. As for Her Maj, I doubt she has much say in around 90% of the gongs awarded, most of which are the reserve of the politcial elite to reward various knob-suckers and gusset-strokers that have turned blind eyes, greased palms and taken the flak for our beloved party leaders down the years. The left-wing is extremely adept at reading the underlying mood of the country and judging when best to make its move. It would abolish the monarchy in a heartbeat right now if it believed that most of the country would be apathetic to it, but realises that now is not the time. In any case, Her Maj has little real power (despite what we might be told) and any exercise of it is immediately heralded as unconstitutional and an unwelcome dabble into politics. In other words, she is quickly silenced whilst the left makes capital out of her foray.
I do admit that. I recall me saying that the extreme left and the extreme right are equally dangerous on a thread some months ago. For 'extreme' you could perhaps substitute 'unbalanced'.
These extremes are actually two ends that joined up form a circle. There is no difference between communist states and fascist states to the unfortunates that live in them, they are oppressed by those in power who brook no opposition...
I love Ozzy. I would have him as a dinner guest at a drop of a hat. But would I give him a gong? Absolutely not! These things have to be awarded, in my opinion at least, for acts of selflessness and sacrifice, not as the icing on the cake for lucrative, fame-filled, hedonistic careers, regardless of whether those careers have brought pleasure to others. There's nothing bad about left wing or right wing per se. It is the extreme elements within them that are the danger, and extremists currently run through the left like writing through a stick of rock. They have been so successful and influential that many around them are starting to exhibit similar behaviours under that strange phenomenom where they want to 'belong'.
I laugh at the nutters on both sides and I also laugh at the yanks who have a choice between a right wing party and an extreme right wing party and the latter supporters believe that anyone who doesnt agree with the fox news propaganda is a nappy wearing liberal lefty.
