Excellent workrate but he's too weak. He's getting physically dominated too often and looking to get free kicks that just aren't there.

Yeah the difference between him and Gallagher seems to be a more beefy, stronger Gallagher.

Need to adapt his game so he's not getting caught on the ball as often, should be drawing opponents in and then passing it off using the technical ablity he undoubtably has. Maybe the passes are just not on because we don't have enough forward runners at the moment, which is a common theme as we try to play through the thirds.

In Aaronson's defence he's always trying to be progressive with his running and passing so maybe he will improve with Sinisterra, Bamford, Summerville etc providing better options.

I also think he has been really unlucky in front of goal. With more luck he would have had 5 or 6 goals by now which would have helped him a lot.

Sorry when I said passing through the thirds, this should really have been through the first 2/3 as we're just not getting into that vital final third often enough.

Jesse needs to sort this out, we're playing too much tippy tappy stuff in the middle of the park which results in losses of possession and this has been one of the main problems since Marsche took over.

Rodrigo is our record signing for around £27M if reports were correct.

Whilst most were impressed at the time (after promotion), it's clearly players in the £35M+ bracket that make the difference in the PL and it would appear none of those are interested in signing for Leeds.

He plays in a challenging position, his stats even in Austria showed that he wasn’t technically brilliant… his passing is so so - ie he’s not a Pablo style AM and never will be.

He’s quick, energetic… he’s meant to be the guy that helps get the ball up the pitch with the ball at his feet and help with quick transitions. Which is a lengthy way of saying… I think your last para is on point- to get the best out of him we need to have outlets /runners. The last couple of games we’ve been defending too much.

Agree he needs to learn, in this league, to not roll around looking for fouls, unless he knows there’s been clear contact. He gets muscled off the ball too easily.

Charlie Cresswell has been on the bench for a while now down at Millwall and mostly unused....discuss.

he can plays in the same position as their captain. Picked when they play 5 at the back, not when they play 4.

His fault? Hard to say, ringo seems to think he’s done well when played. My take is he needs to be somewhere where he’s getting regular game time. I’m not sure what the release clauses are for him but I wouldn’t mind him going somewhere else.

Don’t see the point in having someone who can’t get game time at millwall (whatever the politics) back here for the second half of the season.

I've nicked this from another forum, from someone who's spent a little time researching Wober.

Basically Wober has done a 'Ben White' this season and ousted their captain and LB Ulmer out of the position and been so influential that he has since been made Captain himself despite his fairly young age.
Their fans are upset and think £11-14m is too cheap and think they should get at least 20m for him
(which is always a good sign when their fans are angry)

Getting good reviews when he plays but when Hutchinson is fit he plays.

Probably a dumb choice of club to go to in hindsight but has done really well when played.

I still have high hopes for him back here.

Dan James season statistics to date.

    P 14, Goals 1, Assists 0

    Crap don't you think ?

    Oh hang on a minute...

    Games won when playing 5

    Fulham Position in PL 7th

Maybe there's more to it than meets the eye and he certainly seems to be effective coming on as a sub for them.

    On Wober.

I've never seen him play but apparently he has decent pace. Don't think he's Usain Bolt by any stretch but the way Chris Wood (yes Chris Wood!) outpaced our back 4 yesterday suggests we need somebody who can move a bit.

From what I mentioned earlier, its us that value him at £35m, Newcastle want to pay £20m with £5m add ons.
With talk of James being sent back from Fulham, would you sell Harrison and for what price?

I don't hate Dan James. He is OK. He's just not £25 million of ok. We overpaid.

If he was here I'm not sure where he would fit. Is he better than Summerville, Gnonto, Harrison, Sinisterra?

I like Dan James. Hes committed, quick and has a good engine. Technically he's nowhere near good enough.

Well we don't play to his strengths. It might be time for him to go.

We want 35 mill, they want to pay 25 mill. Common sense would be 30 mill.

Eddie is a great coach and it’s strange that he wants Harrison. Maybe he will manage to unleash his full potential and double his value. I’d be happy with £25m with a healthy sell on clause

Wouldn't disagree but he was (is) our player and we gave him away for no good reason...unless you think saving a few quid when we'd just had £100M incoming is a good reason of course.

If this is the only offer then take it. Jack i think wants to go and play at a higher level (wage).
