Yeah its a funny old League this year. There are quite a few teams struggling. I didn't expect to see Villa down there. We've really struggled at times - sitting in 12th really doesn't sit well. I'd be shocked if they went down. P.S don't understand the Cole signing. Previous lessons appear not to have been learnt.
Bit pathetic that each week we have to rely on the misfortunes of our relegation rivals, while never looking like getting the job done ourselves. At least Reading made a go of it today and had a couple of opportunities to equalize before Dempsey's deflected goal.
i have been saying this for the last month. its not good when we are relying on other teams in December but thats the way it is.. if we ned to rely on others to stay up then so be it..
Despite those recent huge losses, when Andreas Weimann and Christian Benteke are firing, as in the Liverpool game, Villa, unlike us, are a real offensive threat. We are fast running out of relegation partners. Now all we need are Saints to get a result against Arsenal and us to get hammered at Chelsea tomorrow.
TBH I don't think todays' results are going to make a lot of difference as in all likely we are going to get hammered tomorrow........
