love this vid by City n Umbro
So much irony using the tagline 'heart and soul' That is exactly what the Allams have tried to take out if the club this season.
Launched against Arsenal apparently with Geovanni ??? So it was a good move by the club to keep it quiet ???????? Only in Hull.
If the Allams took a tenth of the nous from this promotion and used it in their (currently near non-existent) marketing, the Club would have made a large step forward.
I've always liked the kits Umbro made. Adidas was just **** templates used by loads of other clubs and they always had problems
Didn't hear it myself, but apparently they announced a special event 24 minutes into the game, which turned out to be the advert for umbro. Is there a significance to the number 24?
Which in turn I took to be a nod to City fans chanting at 19:04 for our founding, but I might be reading too much into it.
Would be quite happy if the shirt looked like this: http://www.designfootball.com/desig...hirts/newcastle-united-home-shirt-umbro-15767 In black and amber of course!
Did City use Umbro before 2007? I know they supplied goalkeeper shirts to Wealands and McKechnie but that was in the first half of the 70s before the insignia wars kicked in.
So who supplied the kit up to 1975? May well have been Umbro (see my previous post) The first ever kit on there is wrong as we played in black and amber stripes not white shirts.
they played in the white kit when they were formed in 1904 but could only play in friendlies, they changed to black and amber for the 04/05 season starting
Not a mention of this in the HDM but they have plenty of make believe and speculation about Bruce joining Man U based on no facts at all.
There doesn't seem to be a specific kick supplier pre 1975. Europa appear to be the first with the logo
