All this talk of asking them to change their logo is absolutely f**ing ridiculous. It's their logo - you cannot force them to change it. Have you any idea how much work goes into brand protection? You cannot in a million years take a company's money and then have any say whatsoever in how their logo looks, it's just f**ing preposterous.

I know some company (Thomson?) did this Spurs but that was red and therefore an Arsenal thing and the company offered. We havent got a historical rival that plays in red and would annoy us all.

Their logo is red and black... so clearly they are capable of changing it to fit the shirt as they've put it all in white for the home shirt and black. They want their brand to stand out, OK but I don't see why they couldn't have had the Bet in Blue or even Amber since Asians seem to hate Blue. If the red in their brand is so important why is it missing in the black kit?

Compromise probably

So where is the red on the sponsor for the home and away kits?

I've not read this thread so I don't know if its been said but the most disconcerting thing for me is Jake Livermore is an FKW!

Like they did with the first team strip?

Yes, precisely.

I don't know what part of I'm 99.99999% they decided how it would be used that you can't grasp. Companies with any decent brand development have different logos for different backgrounds. They then use these as appropriate. The red might have looked a little silly against the amber and indeed the black, for example.

I feel like I'm explaining marketing to an infant.

Oh, it's Blampers.

O Mighty One

Thankyou for illuminating me (and contradicting yourself<laugh>)

I must be colour blind - I can't see the red.

What are you talking about?

I must be colour blind, that kit isnt black and amber.

It really is like trying to reason with someone who has no concept of, well anything, but they still try and debate it.

Know the feeling....
