A bit of blurb on the video from SAFC.com. They are wearing it tomorrow.

Sunderland AFC’s 2021-22 Nike home kit is now on sale ahead of the new campaign.

Inspired by the club’s first Nike kit worn from 1983 to 1986, the remixed design also takes elements from the club’s 1995-97 away strip and 2009-10 home shirt.

Featuring a white base to provide an 80s’ vibe, the fading stripes throw back to SAFC’s yellow Avec shirt from the mid-90s to build one of the most bespoke designs in the club’s recent history.

Echoes of the Lads’ 2009-10 shirt also subtly influence the bespoke design, as a large abstract crest adorns the front of the garment.

Paired with black shorts and red socks, the shirt once again proudly displays the logo of the club’s principal partner, Great Annual Savings.

Local musician Sorley launched the kit at the Academy of Light, remixing Prokofiev’s Dance of the Knights

Championed by BBC Radio 1's Danny Howard and presented as a future fire artist for 2020, the Sunderland-born DJ is an avid supporter and regularly attends games at the Stadium of Light.

Priced at £40 for juniors and £50 for adults, the brand-new home shirt is now exclusively available via the Online Store.
