I'd have given it to people who grew up and loved the films (original trilogy). For instance how about Kevin Smith? Or perhaps the Edgar Wright \ Simon Pegg film team? You just have to watch Spaced to see how much they loved those films. Ok ok: how's this? "Being Jedi" A fly on the wall documentary looking at Luke's new Jedi school. We'll do some outside shots with the younglings training; young Han junior getting a rollicking & told he'll be on the first shuttle back to bespin if he doesn't pay attention like brilliant calrissian here, then into the main office to listen to Luke's plans ahead for the Jedi in this new republic. Big picture of him from a new hope behind him...except he's using the force to make it float. His thoughts on why the old Jedi as great as their history was just couldn't cut it in this new harsher galaxy. How The new threat from the dark side in Lord Fergisevil & Darth Moye needs a younger streamlined Jedi Order. It'll be all about a more flexible, flowing use of the force.....
Because that's real. Star Wars isn't. The first one was OK, but then it got silly. It's now gone to a parallel universe of rank stupidity.
Now this has more than a hint of creativity about it and would be much more enjoyable than the other cack. Get it on the right thread.
