The Atyeo was originally supposed to be a 2 tier stand but the council put height restrictions on it due to the light interference with the houses behind. That's why it's a non-uniform shape as the houses "cut into" in the set back and thus the side closest to the Williams is a few rows shorter than the rest of it. The only way to make this bigger would be to purchase all the houses and then it would be a non-issue. Apart from the weird roof (steel superstructure being half above and half below), the Atyeo is a perfectly good stand. There's really no economic sense in rebuilding it. I'm surprised that the images released are still a bit vague on the Dolman. I was lead to believe that there were exec boxes being put in there but it's hard to tell from the website. It really seems that the club is not exactly making a big effort to really inform the fans?
The decision NOT to have exec boxes in the refurbished Dolman was confirmed by the club around twelve months ago.
Originally, back in the 90's, there was talk of making exec boxes at the very back and top of the Dolman which would have involved losing several rows of seats
