Hope they have another the following Monday, I'm over.
I'll gatecrash with my "I Have Suffered Chronicle" press badge and get my face on TV.

35k is close to our record attendance v Leeds in 74. It'll be enough for us, and probably the right size for 'other uses'.
Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis would be a great model - retractable roof and one glass wall, also retractable. Bit big at 63k capacity, but scale down, squeeze stands nearer the pitch and make them steeper.......

Unfortunately it cost $720m to build. Only takes 12 minutes to deploy the roof, the Wimbledon committee obviously went to the wrong suppliers.

May be both Koreans, the announcement probably for the Asian market before the tour. Clever marketing

Nice. increase the angle of the stands so that the crown enclose the pitch more, and you're getting there.

Guys, i'm not the most technical person in the world, but i'm pretty sure the owners/designers will look at how they would expand in the future should we need to. The closing roof sits on a mechanism and basically slides in to place. I'm pretty sure that if we needed to expand they would simply remove the mechanism, expand the tier and then replace the mechanism and roof. I don't think it would be rocket science.

The great thing about this is the possibility to get the grass right, so the pitch does not rip up even in winter. If bad weather is forecasted then they simply close the roof for a few days and our matches can still go ahead. Think about it. We will be way ahead of all other clubs in the Prem. The ability to generate money out of the football circle will really assist in stabilising the club and hopefully pay towards the cost. Also, big companies would be chasing the naming rights and this will inject tens of millions. I know we might all want a decent name for the stadium, but really, who cares. No more knocking your knees off the back of the bloke in front of you and pissing in the worst jacks in the world. All superb news.

If it isn't rocket science then I'm not sure we should get involved with this project.

QPR will reveal plans for a new 35,000-seater stadium within weeks, I can reveal. Drawings are at an advanced stage & progressing well.

Surely there is someone on here who can draw quicker than that?

Anyone know how long it takes to build a stadium of the type being discussed here? I only ask because I need to know how many incontinence pants I need to buy for my coming season in the Ellerslie. :emoticon-0107-sweat:
