Mmmmmm. I'm not a beer snob. One of my brothers is. It doesn't seem to bring him too much happiness, though. He's always moaning about what's available and what isn't.

I pick the best thing available and enjoy it. No good cider...what's the beer/wine/gin/whatever like? ..........Good, I'll have that.

Me as well, given a choice I would drink Harveys of Lewes Best Bitter, not too strong, but strong enough with a wonderful taste of hops. Second choice would be Shepard-Neame Spitfire, again the taste of hops is there. However, there are thousands, if not 10's of thousands of drinkable beers and far fewer 'one's to avoid'.

Beaver town have a brewery on site at the new stadium , they brew a couple of very drinkable ales, "Neck Oil is a good session ale and Gamma Ray is an IPA

I'm all up for a bit of Beaver any day. And I'm certainly gonna try some of that Gamma Ray I'm Pissed Again (IPA) as soon as I get a chance. Hopefully there will be none of that opening the gates 90 minutes before kick off like at Wembley, let us in at 06:00 FFS.

The stadium was always going to have a new name and was never officially called 'White Hart Lane' in any event, which proves how little this all means. I still think in feet and inches and lbs and ounces.

Getting all miffy about the name of a railway station is beyond me. This is hilarious...

I'm instantly reminded of Terence Mann confronting Ray Kinsella in Field of Dreams....

Klinsmann confirmed for the legends game. Looks like he’ll feature for both sides.

Really hoping that Ledley, Robbo, Ekotto and Tainio are part of the game. Loved those guys. Some older legends too, like Graham Roberts and Micky Hazard would be great. Hoddle would be amazing but not sure he’s in a condition to play these days.

Other confirmed players include Nayim, Micky Hazard, Mark Falco, Teemu Tainio, Paul Stalteri, Pascal Chimbonda, Chris Perry and Neil Sullivan while Clive Allen will be joining Gary Mabbutt in the dugout...and, yes, that sound you heard was every Spurs fan facepalming when seeing the word "Legend" next to the name "Paul Stalteri"

The club has also confirmed there will be an opening ceremony before the first game, although I get the feeling it won't involve Glenn Hoddle smashing a bottle of champagne at pitchside before the pitch closes just in time to be ready for kickoff

The Guardian regularly joins in the chorus of "spurs too tight to risk spending what is neccessary to win titles" bollocks while bemoaning the clubs that **** up and destroy their communities.
The also did **** all to highlight the cheating from city over transfers of youngsters and FFP...instead chosing to join in with the collective handjob for Pep.
Reminds me of the early 1980s when I was 14 ish and a civil servant gave the Guardian info about a secret plan for US nuclear weapons at Greenham Common when they had been lying about it...the Government were caught out lying and went mental and threatened to jail the Guardian editor or something unless they gave over the name of the civil servant...

so being the great purveyors of social conscience and justice they meekly handed her name over and printed stories about how bad the Government was while she was jailed.

The Grauniad's always had an anti-Spurs slant to their coverage, for example when they did guides for the upcoming season you were guaranteed to see some comment sneering about "The Tottenham Way", just as their match reports for any win against the Sky Four would be 80% talking about whatever was going on with that team in the coming days before mentioning, oh yeah, Spurs beat them 3-1

What really puzzles me is why they were pro-Chelsea for a few years, because you'd think that the Guardian would be damning about a team brute-forcing their way to success with ill-gotten money to appease a bunch of racists and anti semites in the crowd
