Is it true that some supporters will be charged more for a ticket at Wembley for the 'Pool match than the refund recieved?

Edit: Also just seen rumours of a February start, surely you may as well just play out the season at Wembley if that's the case? Are there any more fixture clashes?
Thoughts now that first game will be 6th December against Southampton.............

Crossrail delayed until next autumn.

Do they have the same contractors as Spurs? <laugh>
Our stadium debacle doesn't look bad compared to Crossrail

1989: the scheme was first proposed
2001: TfL and the Department for Transport began to develop Crossrail
2008: Crossrail was rubber stamped
2009: construction began, which was really popular with businesses in Soho whose premises were knocked down
Early 2010: both election manifestos promised that Crossrail would be delivered in 2017
Late 2010: Mayor of London *shudder* Boris Johnson says, actually, Crossrail will be delivered in 2018
2016: in what was definitely not a move to improve Crossrail PR, the main route was renamed Windscale Sellafield the Elizabeth Line
2018: ...nope, now it'll be opening in 2019

I have digs near Heathrow when in UK and there's been feck-all going on at Hayes Station since Carillion went tits-up. As one of the central hub stations for CR, that's the clearest sign that schedules have slipped.

Mind you, why should we not have to wait an age for a train service. <laugh>

No, the problem is that we paid "market rate" (TM - Harry Hotspur)
for all the sparks in London. Therefore Crossrail cannot get
all their electrical work done on schedule.
