We had this with Gareth Bale. I remember "He's had 3 good games........ he's got no right foot.......... he's a one-trick pony........and best of all - "he's a **** Theo Walcott" (I kid you not!).
There's not a team in England who wouldn't take Kane tomorrow if they had the money. 20 league goals for 3 consecutive seasons. Last season he scored 29 goals in 30 games and he's still only 23. It's all jealousy.

Like Greaves he makes scoring goals look easy and therefore people think he's not doing much and any one could do that. Neither huffed and puffed like a Sanchez they just scored goals and lots of them.

To get all your shots on goal on target (some of them may go in the net) .
And to get back on topic, I hear Levy has had new WHL designed so that
every Spurs shot at goal will end up on target (hence the "retractable" pitch) .
It's like how for years pundits in this country kept talking **** about Messi - "He doesn't score against English teams!", "He doesn't score with his head!"...coincidentally two arguments completely obliterated when he scored a header in the Champions league warm-up against Man Utd.
These days the only person dumb enough to talk **** about Messi is Mino Raiola, and the best he can come up with is that he should've moved clubs at least three more times by now.
Demolition of the South Stand has resumed in earnest, with most of the lower tier and much of the upper tier already gone (this picture was taken yesterday). I reckon there could be nothing left of the old girl by the end of the week at this pace.

The vague proclamation seems to be something to do with networking and technology.

I'm sure that the club was becoming increasingly irate at the lack of progress. I remember Daniel Levy blowing his stack a few months ago. TfL estimate that it will be completed in Spring 2019. So, at best, more than 6 months late. Southern Rail must have a hand in it.
I wonder if it has a cheese room? If the old one did, the interminable wait at the old station wouldn't have been so bad.

Somewhat academic IMHO if Seven Sisters station (train and tube) is also
not similarly developed in terms of capacity, as that is where the real
bottleneck is.
The development comes with new rolling stock and hopefully, increased capacity through more frequent services on the overground line. I've lost track of any plans for the underground line. Is there any such plan?
I'd guess that part of the congestion plan is that more people will remain in the stadium longer to enjoy a craft beer and some non-Kraft cheese. Good luck with that on a wet December night after 10 pm, guys.
Not seen any for Seven Sisters (and I keep a cursory watch on this) .
The issues are (for a likely 100% increase in passenger volume due to new WHL) :
1. The interconnect between the tube and train lines. Currently :
- two small escalators (one up, one down)
- narrow ground level walkways, and not enough stairway
capacity from there to the train platforms
2. Train platform capacity
- Not enough space on the northbound platform to deal with
all the extra passengers
- Very little space behind that platform to extend backwards
Not being nasty here people because I have no knowledge of your neck of the woods but am interested.
How many extra supporters are going to be using the train when your new stadium is complete and is it worth millions (possibly billions knowing BR) for the upgrade in stations?
Given that the extra capacity will only be required by you once every couple of weeks (disregarding cups) and for only 3/4 of the year, is it needed anyway for usual daily use to ease commuter problems?
