If we had twice the income of any other club in the PL I think I'd agree with you. But $30m is a third of the way to catching Arsenal and Chelsea on revenue.
Agreed and I doubt it will be an issue in our new stadium either. I was just making the point that people who may have done very nicely in the last few years at WHL would now get an extra reward for their loyalty.
They are committed to having the roof fully raised before I arrive to inspect things tomorrow lunchtime.
Most of that has been done this week, I regularly check out the stadium cams and if I miss just a few hours something happens. Watching this Phoenix rise is truly amazing.
The roof's on the move again. The lower part is now just below the level of the upper tier on the North, East and West stands.

I've read numerous explanations on SSC. I follow and understand it up to... "It works on the basis of..." After that, I'm hopelessly lost.
Same here. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if we announce that in addition to the NFL games we have also made an agreement with the Ministry of Magic to host the Quidditch World Cup every 4 years.
please log in to view this image This kinda indicates what's going on. The ring of roof supports that is currently being raised is a finished entity. It just gets raised higher and then 'tied off' to the constriction ring and you lay the roof 'cassettes' on top of those wires. On the basis that the structure being raised can't distort, which it isn't and you get the right tension on each wire attached to the constriction ring, it should be incredibly strong. Seemingly, the one potential problem is wind lifting the roof. The architects of the Juve stadium got this all wrong and the roof has had to be tethered at each corner. If we've avoided that, it's a winner.
From the OS re ST prices... Headline figures on new stadium pricing: - A total of 22,000 seats are available under £1,125 where all concessions apply. - A further 5,475 are priced at £995 in the South Stand “Safe Seating” area where Junior concessions are not available but Senior and Young Adult concessions do apply. - As such 27,500 seats are priced at £1,125 or less in the new stadium - of which 23,000 are priced £995 or less - more seats than the total number of season ticket holders we had at White Hart Lane. - There are 2,500 seats in a dedicated Family Area in the North East corner of the stadium across all GA levels. Tickets in this area will only be available to groups that have a junior season ticket holder with them. Our data shows that the majority of our junior season ticket holders will be coming through the process in the later phases so we expect good availability for juniors to access concession tickets in the latter stages of the seat selection process. - Whilst relocations will be possible in certain circumstances, the ability for supporters to choose to relocate seats will be extremely limited so we would urge fans to make a considered choice this year for what is likely to be a long term location for most supporters.
Still doubt I will get at a decent price and in the south. All the comments from the club that have come out to say that there are 17,000 seats in the south are hiding the fact that half of them are 1882 club and cost closer to £2000
