That's great, I'm stuck out in Africa, the wife will also be in Africa, I'm number 13,975 on the waiting list so I will probably get an offer of a season ticket by post and no one will be at home to open my post. Is it worth emailing the club and ask them to contact me by email? Even if I do get one I'll only be in the UK for 4 or 5 matches a season and half of them will be away. I guess I could always sell the tickets on Stub Hub (at face value) but I don't like the idea of supporting stub hub.. Bit of a dilema then. If I turn down the offer do I go to the back of the queue?

The Times are reporting that we have the right to alter the size of the pitch at Wembley, as we see fit.

I'm not sure that it should make much difference other than psychologically but what the hell, it can't hurt. Maybe some hypnotherapy as well? It helped me give up smoking.

In answer to your "dilemma", I would guess if you turned down the offer, then you would have to go to the back of the queue.

Season ticket holders are not being offered an amnesty for the season at Wembley, so why should those on the season ticket waiting list ?

I understand the Supporters Trust group are trying to get some sort of amnesty for those on the waiting list, but I wouldn't raise my hopes if I were you, because as I say, possible double standards here.

Hypnotherapy is not a bad idea. Maybe offer it to Pochettino to help prevent him bottling the big occasions ?

Since a sign on the third picture reads GROUND FLOOR STUDIO 1, I'm wondering if that might be the stadium's media facilities

...so based on the ****e we've had to put up with from the media for the past year, a prison would be fitting.

Perhaps we could name it The Ken Bates suite, and electrify all metallic surfaces
in his honour.

No matter what the Chelsea result is Friday, I hope the lads understand the significance of the final game and give the old stadium the final curtain send off it deserves. A top drawer performance and win over United would be fitting, not to mention completion of the last ever season unbeaten at home.

I will be really pissed off if they give a performance like last year at Newcastle. If Utd show up and win a classic, then so be it, but I demand a good final performance. Guarantees second with a win as well. Let Hull Hotspurs win the final game, but beat Utd and Leicester and all will be right with the world.

The Mail on Sunday has a story today that claims we're planning on hosting lucrative eSports events at the new stadium.
It directly quotes Donna Cullen, our executive director, so it seems to be accurate.

I wonder just how many events we're going to have there every season?
It makes sense to use the ground as often as possible, but the transport infrastructure still badly needs upgrading.
Not much that we can do about that though, I guess. The current plans for it don't fill me with confidence, though.

Hopefully the plans work like this

Phase One: Check to see what the Qatar WC stadiums look like

Phase Two: Be confronted with this image

Phase Three: Check the designs just to be sure

Phase Four: Relax

If Crossrail2 gets the go-ahead then the transport infrastructure will be pretty much be sorted out. It will actually become one of the easiest grounds to get to. Just need to wait until 2030.
