Here's something that I meant to mention, but I couldn't find any reference to it.
The club appears to have stopped serving Amstel, which basically raises prices.
The cheapest beer is now Heineken at £5.89, which is 80p more and it's worse.

That makes an effective price increase of nearly 50% in 4 years.
A pint of Amstel was £4 in 2019. That far too rapid a rise, even in this era.
I won't be drinking at the ground any more.
Unless you drink in somewhere like a spoons £5.89 seems about average for London

It's a little above average, in my opinion, but it's taking the piss for a captive audience.
The rapid rise is unnecessary and exploitative, for me. It's also Heineken.

As the doctor said to the man with a bar of soap up his arse " that's life boy " beer prices are getting stupid where ever you go , missed my train at Euston last week and paid over £6 for a pint of ESB , never clocked it at first as Mrs Conn was having a vat of wine as well

On the plus side, that's still 31p a pint cheaper than the Amex

I meant to update a while ago, but the Chelsea game distracted me, for some reason.
The club restored Amstel for that match, so it may have been a supply issue or something. <cheers>

Don't all rush at once, please.

Pink is definitely a talent. Mrs B has some friends who will be at both gigs. We stayed with them in Ayr, where I was treated to the Pink documentary, large parts of it repeated over and over again...all whilst I still haven't forgiven them for nicking 4 Prince tickets off me, after days of begging and making outlandish promises...many of which remain unfulfilled

I want an invitation to their Italian mountain chalet, as I was promised!

WTF a deal is not done yet to get Adele, is beyond me.

Oh well, I guess file Pink under new WHL "sweat the asset" .
Adele's going to be holding a residency in Vegas from January until June.
I don't think she's announced anything after that.

I don't think she'll be sharing a stage with Cliff in the near future! <laugh>

In sad news for you chubby chasers, Adele is no longer fat:

Cliff's still a straight man living with an ex-Catholic priest platonically, though. <whistle>
