It seemed strange that our new stadium was built at the same time as our team was falling apart.

Arsenal beat you to it, we have been average to ****e since the move, and apart from the FA Cup wins, we haven’t really progressed or caught up financially with United or Pool, and we don’t have a sugar daddy like Chelski or £ity

You've had a massive income boost, though possibly not as much as it could've been, but the money has been misused.
The emergence of two clubs that basically don't care about money has done some damage, of course.
Failing to suitably replace David Dein had the biggest impact though, in my opinion.

We've found ourselves in a somewhat similar situation, but due to a different cause.
Levy took on too much and took his eye off the ball on the squad and transfer side of things, effectively removing a similar Dean figure.
Our team has become unbalanced and almost unworkable as a result.

for me it was a tragedy that we sidled up with Silent Stan as the white knight takeover rather than go with the Usmanov & Dein combination.

Dein and Usmanov are Arsenal fans, and we would have had a billionaire who would have invested money in Arsenal (not pumped in like Abramovich) instead of the billionaire sports team collector that Kronke is.

the extra income from the stadium is useful and would have got us closer to United, but in reality it’s meagre compared to the “financial doping” that City and Chelsea have done.
hence we are no nearer these teams than before, and Spurs are the same.
We are all impacted financially at the moment and Chelsea have just spent £50m plus already

More stadium use, potentially. Seems a bit pointless at the moment, but I guess they can only plan vaguely right now.

Bet that won’t be cheap, do that and the stadium tour and I bet you’re saying goodbye to near on £100
Just had a look and it's £39 or £35.10 for members. Important 10p, that.
Edit: Prices are a little higher for some tours, though. Evenings and weekends cost a fiver more.

Levy and Jose did the walk today, bet that was an interesting conversation, suggestions on the back of an brown paper envelope please

The club have relaid the pitch again , is this normal to change a pitch every season or is it due to the way our one's laid
