So have I. I had two & thats why I flogged it. Steve & Michelle used to have the clock in Stanley. Think they moved to Spain.
LG Phillips did have a partnership. Phillips were the world leaders in TV manufacturing. They supplied nearly every TV manufacturer with the tubes that go in the TV. As new technology came along the big heafty tubes were fazed out in favour of the new slim line TV. Korean's were paying something around 25p an hour to their employee's and Phillips (I had 3/4 friends who worked their) were paying £200 just to work a Sunday night shift. Simple thing is we (Europeans) taught them everything they know and with the Koreans cheap labour (as with the rest of Asia) ****ed up the British manufacturing industry.
