Hull City Boys, you seem to be getting confused between "Hull City" and "Assem Allam". Assem Allam gave HKR £1m not Hull City. Mr A and his family bailed the club out to the tune of £40m in the last 6 months and have also spent several million on players. In the long run the club needs to be run as a business and not rely on AA to bail it out, hence sponsorship is needed. Geddit?

Of course we geddit. Mr Allam loans HKR £1million out of his own money. Why not, it's his money.
Neil Hudgell's ambulance chasing company sponsor a stand at the circle.
The chairman of Hull KR can spend his companies advertising budget on what he likes.

Someone on CI has suggested that anyone having a mishap down at the circle should give mr Hudgell a ring in order that he may sue the SMC on their behalf.
What does anyone think a twisted ankle might be worth? 48 Cranswick pork chops? more/less?
No win no fee, everyone's a winner!

Yeah there is a difference but there practically linked since for both AA and City , AA owns the money.

Anyway regardless of that we should be trying to get less money in the game and run it more as a sport than as a business. (Obviously you can never eliminate the business side out of the equation but it is just getting daft now and too commercialized )

    Against Mod£rn Football !!!!!

If the people in that picture were actually against modern football, they wouldn't be there.

As for the East Stand name, well it's a bit of a mouthful isn't it? After the shock of Cash Converters though anything seems good.

Thanx for the explanation, I don't know why I wrote Hull KR! of course I know that as I support KR and have been to Craven Park

I'll put it down to having a stressful day at the garage..

Yes, my bro-in-law says the rent is profit-based so since the club don't make profits the rent is minimal..

It's not just minimal, it's negative.

As part of the deal when the SMC was set up HCC agreed to rent offices within the KC, for which I believe they pay £76k a year(from memory) and so they have paid the SMC many times what the club has paid in rent. Well done on that one AP.

The egg chasers pay x amount per person on gates above 8,000. (or something similair) to the SMC, all sales of warm beer, snacks etc also go to the SMC.
Stand sponsorship may or may not got to the SMC but if it did it may well not be added to any transfer kitty or player wage funding.

How much would Hull City ask for a stand to be sponsored by VIAGRA ? Would they have stiff competition for it ? lol
