What browser do you use on your iphone? Works well in Chrome for me.

Let me know how it goes. I've asked about your issues with the site on the iPhone too. I only have a Windows phone so I've long since given up on trying to use Not606 on my phone <laugh>

Don't. I loathe Apple. However my phone, like every single mobile I've ever had, came to me for free. And it was markedly less awful that the HTC thing I had before.

Like I said, though - I just hate touch screens. The logical flaws in having the display and controls one and the same thing are just bleedin' obvious to me but I seem to be in a minority on this issue.

Oh - another email alert - must check the January transfer thread! (Or something).

I rather stupidly use Safari cos its the default. I would never do such a thing on a proper computer. Hmm - maybe I should sort that out. Presume I could get firefox for my iPhone. (Then again I can equally imagine that Apple being Apple they make it impossible to do such things with their products. Because they're a hateful company).

I think lenny that the more the mfrs can dumb down their equipment the more money they will make. Touch screens are reminiscent of a 3 year old's first book and therefore well suited to the populace.;)

2 things I've wondered/noticed on the new site.

Does it show who the mods are?
Doesn't seem to show if a comment has been edited.

Neither are big deals, but minor pains. I'll guarantee I'm getting every prediction right until the end of the season now <whistle>

Edit: Does show when edited in bottom right hand corner

The mods have Forum Moderator written on a green banner across their little sidebar thingy.

There's an option when editing to do it invisibly, but I'm not sure if that's available to everyone.
Might be an idea for those running the games to quote everyone's posts just before kick-off? Not sure how feasible that is.

Yes, see that. But the old site used to say at the bottom who the board mods were. If you were new and wanted to complain to the Chelsea mods (say) it might take a few weeks before they posted anything to show who the mods are.

When I come to post or to reply to a post, it jumps up half an inch so the writing area is hidden behind the Forums Members Live Activity line. So I have to scroll down to retrieve the writing area.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, could you take a screenshot?

I haven't a clue how to take a screenshot. I understand I may not have made myself clear, but to reply to your post, my writing area moved upwards and I was typing in an area hidden behind The Forums bar. To see what I was writing meant scrolling the posting downwards. It happens every time I post.

Is this on PC or mobile/tablet? If you let me know that and what browser you're using I'll have a look to see if there's a fix.

Thanks YV, appreciate any assistance you can offer. I am on tablet and using Safari.

Sounds similar to the problems noticed in safari a few points up the thread. Suggest switching browser to chrome.

Yeah, I'm trying to see if there's a fix without changing browsers but at the moment all I'm finding is people saying they gave up and switched to Firefox/Chrome.

BTW I have changed the 'Well Known Member' under my name. Can you all do it or is it just an elitist mod thing?

I can see some fun if all can.

If you go to your account: Just below your Avatar is a rectangular white box entitled: Custom Title

If you have that it's where you type in your custom label.
