Rooney isn't leaving, Carrick has a couple more years in him. His game is based entirely on his technical skill and ability to read the game. Rio may be on his last legs, but we already have adequate cover at CB assuming Vidic can stay fit. Evra has a few more years left, but he may end up being rested to play in bigger games more often in the upcoming years. Zaha wasn't signed as a replacement for anyone IMO. He was signed because not only do we need an extra winger, and he might be one of the best talents in England. If anything he's replacing Ji-Sung Park.

the problem with Carrick and Evra we don't have a cover to rotate them with or when getting a long term injury

    Aye, but that's not a replacement. <ok>

We need to sign one CM this window regardless if anyone leaves. Then sign someone for every person that leaves.

Let's exchange Nani for Wilshere, both sides happy.

not an instant replacement, but both played lots of games last season, lucky none get injured, they need to start rotating with young replacement who will learn from them till they took over completely in coming years

agree on the CM, he is a must have one next summer ...
according to news today, Sir Alex will have 50m to spend

I don't think Sir Alex has a transfer budget. I think he just goes out and buys who he thinks will make the team better, and doesn't spend money to spend money.
