    It actually looks decent on tv. A little tacky on the keepers kit, but obviously the patch is just a temporary solution. Definitely looks better than when Stevie held it up in that picture.

    Yeah must agree it looked better actually on the players, but i bet in person it still looks tackie.

    Still it has potential to be a nice sponsor next season if its actually printed on the shirts

    Look like computer edited ones rather than pictures of the shirts with the actual patch on. Guess that's what they're going to look like though.

    Good sponsor and I'm sure it'll look a bit better once they sorted. It just looked like they'd had run down to Sports Direct for a bit shirt printing last night!

    I just find it hilarious that we had all these grand "plans" re: shirt sponsorship, how good a marketing opportunity this was, how mega big companies were going to be fighting to get the shirt rights and stadium naming rights, it could bring us a 10m player, and yet the best we've managed is to sell off the shirt sponsorship to the company who bought the last sponsors out! Haha. You couldn't make it up.

    Worth a try Mike, worth a try. Now change it back to St James Park you ****er and be done with it.

    New Virgin Money Shirts Available From 6 January

    "Further to the announcement yesterday that Virgin Money are the new shirt sponsors of Newcastle United, the club are pleased to confirm that shirts, with the new logo applied, will be on sale in all club stores and available online at www.nufc.co.uk from Friday (6 Jan).

    Supporters are advised that there may only be a limited quantity of the new look shirts in stock on Friday, with further stock arriving over the following days.

    Supporters with current 2011/12 shirts are also welcome to bring their shirts into one of the official club stores to obtain a new logo free of charge, subject to supply.

    Newcastle United's official club stores are located at the Metrocentre, Eldon Square and Sports Direct Arena."
