I hear we have an allocation of 1200 tickets for Bournemouth - only 4 weeks away tomorrow. First dibs to those who went to 7 or more away games last season.

Counts me out then. Need to talk nicely to my brother in law, ST holder at Cherries, who knows the hospitality director there. However Cherries fans are already kicking off at not being able to get tickets. The problems of having a capacity of 12,000 only.

For the last couple of years they have been talking about building a new 20,000 seater on the athletics ground adjacent to the Vitality but there are all sorts of problems with infrastructure, parking, transport etc.

Think the whole ground holds about 1200.

10% for away fans isn't a lot in the prem, even at the bigger grounds.

Hopefully we can fill the CCS most games this season.
 
Could be we score in this game BFB pal, 1-1 away from home against a side we could take four points from this season :emoticon-0103-cool:!

Bournemouth haven't won their opening game in their 3 years in the Prem. It would be good to help them maintain the tradition.
 
Number 21 was Scott Mclean he deserved a goal after a number of good efforts.

Good run out for the players although Warnock rested the first team quite rightly as the pitch was hard and dry. Good to see them mixing with the fans and signing autographs and posing for photos with the kids.

We played in our new away strip, a sort of silvery white, looks very good - on sale in the club shop tomorrow!

A sell out crowd just like last season when the attendance was 2,920. Many of these will be heading to Cornwall and Devon for City's next pre season games. I might join them if I get the chance.

This time last season we played Taffs Well and ended up being promoted - who would have thought it?

Lets hope it's a good omen for this year.

Disappointing for the fans not to see the new boys on the pitch though it seems like the right decision if the pitch was questionable.
Good PR with autographs and selfies none the less.
And money raised for charity.

Imagine if a first teamer got injured due to the pitch<doh>

Even if it doesn't force him into Warnocks thinking, it makes him more attractive to other clubs.
After his horrendous knee injury, for his benefit he needs a full season playing.
I'm sure he'd do a good job for a championship / L1 side.
