I’ll give the Fisherman’s Friend the benefit of the doubt on this occasion, as he is now quite out of touch when it comes to attending Charlton matches (I believe North Whales Addict Ivor attended more than @baraettmattesvensson last season) He is right is so much as we will take 800 to the likes of Wigan, Hull and Preston. But our away average over the course of next season will exceed 1500.
Count me in too. Our average away attendance in the. Championship next season will easily exceed 1,100 Fulham’s Away end holds 7,000, you silly little minge !
Last season was weird. I'd already said just before Doncaster the beginning of March that we were only going to make the play offs. But this was when the away attendances started to rise. We took a 1000 to Donny about the same as the season before. As you said nearly sold out Wycombe but in November only took 900 to pompey in the week.
We will sell out Millwall, Brentford & QPR - fact. If we are going well we will take in excess of 4,000 to Fulham - fact. That already leaves your bet looking dicey. Luton and Reading will both be sell outs. All of the attractive Midlands games will be 1500 plus. Leeds & Sheffield Wed will result in a good turnout (a bit like you after a Wetherspoons breakfast).
Predicted away turnouts - Barnsley 800 Birmingham 1500 Blackburn 800 Brentford 2500 Bristol City 1200 Cardiff 1200 Derby 1500 Fulham 3500 Huddersfield 1200 Hull 800 Leeds Utd 1800 Luton 1500 Middlesbrough 800 Millwall 2500 Forest 1800 Preston 800 QPR 2500 Sheff Wed 1500 Stoke 1200 Swansea 1200 @baraettmattesvensson I bet you £250 that our average away attendance next season exceeds your prediction of 1,100
Little legs needs to stick to his south London treble. Even if we take 500 to half the games we need to take just over 1500 to the rest. I think someone was saying there is only about 3 games where you need to change trains.
