In the next few weeks Saints nice shiny new kit will be ready to buy in store.

You can pick a shirt up for the modest sum of around 50.00 of your hard earned cash. Many will think its worth it as you will get a seasons use out of wearing it to games and around town.

Warning - when you purchase the shirt you may be lured into selecting letters to go on the back of the shirt. For an extra sum you can assemble these letters to form your favourite players name which will go accross the back of the shirt, just above the number.

Dont do it. Your 50.00 shirt will already be redundant at the end of the season - dont get a players name put on the back so that it will be out of date come January.

I remember for many years in a row that the player who was December would nearly always be gone by that month. December for this years calendar? A group photo of players celebrating <yikes>
 
I always get my nickname above 'my favourite player's' number so at the moment it is 20 with my nickname above it. I'll be 40 year old next year. Does that mean I stop using nicknames and all my shirts are redundant?

I used to always get No7 with 'Le nickname' above it :)
