The wenger rule changes nothing, instead of checking if they’re just past the man they’re checking if his heel is still in line

also gives far too much leeway to attacker

Forwards will have too big an advantage. Might be good for running off the shoulder of the last man, as will get less called back there, but forwards will be able to stand half a body in front of their marker for free kicks into the box, without being offside. Will be a nightmare for defenders.

You could stamp out Time wastimg if the refs bothered their arses. Book them straight away instead of waiting to the last 10 minutes

Whoever IFAB are are saying that the goalie will have 8 seconds to release the ball otherwise the opposition are awarded a corner.

People whinge about early leavers as it is, never mind when matches are taking about 2 and a half hours because of VAR reviews and stop the clock football.

I think the Wenger rule may give too much advantage to attackers, personally. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. It also does nothing to solve the "one millimetre offside" issue, they will just be measuring from the back of the attacker rather than the front now...
Correct
They will still have to use the laser
