willing to bet that flanagan will have a hard time holding down a first team place if LFC manage to sign anyone.

  5. I hope he does, no one should be automatic first choice, everyone should have to earn their place. The lad is young and will get better. He clearly is good enough for a side challenging for a title too, he's just done just that!

I think Spain may be the place to look. Or Germany.

he filled in. if cissohko was any good and not so unfit and if enriques knee was such an issue... well.... i think he slotted in and filled in bu thatas not "good enough for a side challenging for a title too, he's just done just that" Surely if a players is bought or comes in by displacing someone through football and not through injury and a laonee being total gash then you can say he earned it.

IMO next year is the earning...

nobody claimed last year wisdom earned anything when he came in for injuries did they?

again he's average but thats ok... you are just the one thats wrong not the rest of us!

  10. Filled in or not, he played 23 league games in a season where the title was only taken from our reach on the final day of the season!

I am not alone in praising FLanno on these boards either, you've obviously chosen to just pay attention to me (can't blame you #allaboutgerrez :p)

Wisdom did get praise from me but not to the same level. Bit like with Lucas, Kuyt and Henderson, I look at the player. What they can do and where they can improve, IMO Flanno will become a top player for us in liking with Carragher; not the most talented but will make the most of what he has coupled with heart, desire and commitment.

Ricardo Rodriguez and Alberto Moreno should be the targets.

I wouldn't be disappointed if we ended up with A. Cole because I still feel he is England's best left back.

Don't agree. I think he's miles better than Johnson.

I would personally go and grab Micah Richards for £8 mill though.

Seeing as most of you think you can just sign Barkley and everton will bow down to your greatness and pay you to take him.... why not demand Coleman as well?

cant see you having an issue tbf <ok>

Everton give you £40million for the pair?

Since when did we think that?
Would love Barkley, but Everton wouldn't sell or they would at a huge expense (to still probably not us).

As for a new RB, Micah Richards if it was £5m or less. Otherwise Moreno.

Its the view of some on here. I suspect they were trying to wum a certain everton fan but its hard to tell with these particular posters.

Still... Anyone better than coleman for rb? Fair to say hes probably the best in the league.

I'd have Sagna and Richards over him because they would both be cheaper and would realistically come to Liverpool.

Coleman has only been there 1 year. Lets wait and see how he gets on next year.

LOL... I was joking the other day to tease Tobes calling Barkley: "Future Liverpool Player, Barkley". I wasn't being serious- my tone was "silly", even Tobes presumably knew I was joking. I would love to sign him though- be a better option than Lallana. (and I like Lallana)
