One of your answers is correct Maestro. What logic did you use. In fact it would be interesting to know what logic is used for all answers. What would the next number be?
I would guess Maestro was correct with 40, 100 The progression being 1, 2, 4; then 10, 20, 40 followed by 100, 200, 400 (i.e adding noughts)
My first answer was a mistake. I put 80 when I meant 100 then the bloody thing wouldn't let me edit it, so I reposted the right answer - hopefully
I will say that the sequence is consecutive and not in groups. I'm interested to see how you leaped from 4 to 10.
OK here is a clue. I've added a 0 to the right each time so there is continual progression. In your sequence there is no progression from 4 to 10. Also, using your logic how did you get from 1 to 2? I acknowledge I should have made it clear at the start that this is one continuous progression and not in groups of 3, or any grouping. 1,10,100,1000,10000,100000,1000000, 10000000, etc
1, 10, 100, 1 000, 10 000, 100 000, 1 000 000, 10 000 000, 100 000 000, 1 000 000 000 (in binary) = 1,2,4,10,20,40,100,200,400,1000 (in octal)
Ok. AN easy one for you all now..... What were Sheffield United the first team to do? I am looking for a particular thing......and it was in my lifetime.
binary, I'm rubbish at this sort of thing but what threw me was why is there no nought's to the left? ie 1= 001, 2 = 010
Sheffield United played in an FA Cup semi-final, League Cup semi-final and a Play-Off final in the same season and lost all 3
If that is not a correct answer then they were the first foreign club to takeover a Chinese team when they bought Chengdu Wuniu, now known as Chengdu Blades
