7 months ago our 13 year old Border Terrier died. Always knew we'd get another dog once the raw edge of losing her had passed.
Been looking for months without success, scouring the country.
By chance our daughter told us a friend had a suitable litter ready to go. Not the border we wanted but a border x jack russell. Went to see them last monday. Picked one up on wednesday.
I'd forgotten how tiring and time consuming puppies are.
Worse than babies (from what I remember). At least they stay where you put them and you can put a nappy on them.
Been up about 3 hours with him. Did what he needed to in the garden first thing. Played, had his breakfast, played some more. Spent a load of time in the garden so he had chance to go again but he didnt.
Started typing this and he p!ssed on the carpet. Took him back outside. Nothing. Came back in, made a brew and he'd $h!t on the tiles.
He's curled up having a snooze, charging his batteries for round 2 now.
