Hi all,

I read this forum almost daily and thought I should stop being lazy and actually post as well. Anyway just thought i'd say, from watching the Burnley highlights, that the front 3 of gally nugent and howard looked great. For the first time this season I think we could say we had options up top. Howard's strength nugent's goalscoring prow and gally creative and adding some width. if we had a midfield 3 of wellens/king/danns or even abe/wellens/fernandes i could confidently say we have the best attacking team in the league! with the options of dyer/beckford/schlupp on the bench we have so many options!

Maybe stowell and rudkin should be given some time tactics were spot on!!

I agree, I've always thought that the 4-3-3 is our best formation IF we can get 2 players in the front 3 competent at playing out wide. We've tried it with Vassell for too long and Danns as well, 2 players who clearly couldn't lay there. Gally and Nugent both showed they could play wide last season and both added a decent amount of goals too. I'd still like a winger in January to give us a bit more pace but until then this team seems the way forward.

I think another difference is the attitude, it seems to me we played without fear at Burnley and took the game to them in a positive manner. This is where we perform best as we do have the better players most of the time. Howard has definitely made an impact, we've needed his aggression and work rate, Beckford has been found wanting on both counts so far (as well as pretty much everythig else). Stowell and Rudkin will be in Charge on Sunday so it should be the same team, a win against Leeds and all of a sudden the new manager will have a good platform to build on.

I agree with Emilio i would like another winger to come in to give us a differernt dimension. We only have Dyer as a natural winger with pace

Wouldn't you look for pleasure elsewhere if your team got smashed 5-0 by a midtable bunch of nobodies managed by a clown?
