Can't the club erect tents in the park and provide a selection of food and prices?

I don't like the idea of having to decide a few days in advance to go for the club hospitality. I prefer to make my mind up on the day.

Nope. But saw the new slim line John Parkin @ Scun thorpe Brentford game yesterday. I think his new shape has upset his aim quite significantly.

As for those Peppered Steak Pies they are truely awsome. LOVE EM. Got back to Hull and went shopping in Tesco and in the reduced section they had steak pies at 13p each. Grabbed 8 of em. Put 6 of em in the freezer and they will do for the next couple of home games. Ate the other 2 for supper. Quality and value.

Boro used to do pie, peas, chips and gravy(though it seems to have been binned now) and there was never much of a queue, how could they turn out a full meal quicker than we can manage to serve a pint?

I used to like the place behind the open stand at Macclesfield - I'm not a great burger/hot dog fan but they were ace.

Best: Rotherham used to do a mean pie
Worst: I remember going to Hartlepool years ago when we had the terracing behind the goal, we'd all bought Meat n potato pies but it appeared that instead of using real potato inside, they'd used Smash but neglected to add any water to the powdery ****e!
Instead of dumping them, all six of the pies were passed on to one of the lads called Whirley Gigg, who ate them all as a dare (he never let us down).

He was not well that night.

A word also for Exeter City and the cornish pasties. Freshly made locally and brought to the ground. Worst burgers were Palace.

Well to be fair, the pies were alright... when I got the right ones. Asked for meat and potato; and got a rather dire cheese and potato and the cheeky buggers tried making me pay another £3 for my replacement! The best pies I have (which is why I hope we get them in the cup next year)... Victoria Park, Hartlepool. Simply terrific minced beef and onion pie. HOPEFULLY the Leicester pies will be good when I go... can't bloody wait!
