All sounds plausible.

On the bright side :emoticon-0157-sun: No more guitar antics - I don't mind all that stuff if improvement on the pitch (and off) comes with it. But it didn't.

Pity about the women's team. The one unquestionably good thing TS did after taking ownership in my opinion.
But with tickets costing peanuts yet only a few hundred attending women's matches it seems inevitable.
Another setback for equality of opportunity.

I'm still in two minds about the academy.
I acknowledge all the good things it does, but it's really only the tail end of it that makes any money.
Helping kids in the community is good, but (like with the women's team) if the money simply isn't there then it has to end.

As for closing parts of the Valley? A few years ago I was outraged that just a few blocks were closed.
Now things are so dire it seems inevitable that half the ground will be shut down.

We're transitioning into a non-league Club. 5th or 6th tier before the decade is out, and by then the Valley will be gated luxury apartments.

I don't know the faces of any of these characters.
 
In my view there is some serious distortion of the truth going on here - on a Trumpian scale.

According to 19addickted96 on that forum this is the way Methven operates.
He creates polarised scenarios in order to whip supporters into an extremist frame of mind to gain loyalty or have them do his dirty work. It's pure Trump.

Keep your wits about you fellow Charlton fans. Don't believe the hype. Know your own minds.

I see Lardiman has upset the natives, on ITTV, challenging the rumours / facts (strike as appropriate).
You have to wonder what all of these people, who pass on confidential information to others who they know frequent fans forums, have to gain.
When challenged to name names, they trot out the old “I was told in strictest confidence so I can’t” say but I’m happy to pass the word on!!!!
