Donald (previous Sunderland owner) was sat behind Martin Sandgaard last night.

Was only a matter of time before he showed his face - you can now put a name yo the money man

The money man isn't him. He is an Oxford fan. Methven's backers are a Singapore consortium. Could be Kiri Capital as they have a connection to Ed Warrick.

Apparently, the Singapore firm have been hired as consultants - they are not the consortium.
Donald was with the Charlton contingent as a guest of Methven - he had no interactions with any if the Oxford staff or directors - was with Scott and Methven all night - apparently, his Mrs is a huge step up on Sandgaards.

Donald and Methven are old friends and Donald is an Oxford United fan who goes regularly. I think you are putting two and two together. I would be very surprised if Donald is the money behind it.

They are also old friends of Warwick and Rodman.

That SE7 company that was set up will be worth following to see if any directors are added in the very near future
 
Donald’s fortune at April 2018 is 8.4 Million. About enough to run us for a year. I believe a Consortium is taking us over. Donald may well be one of the investors. The bid is with the EFL at the moment. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Simon Lenagan was only a Director of Oxford because his old man was owner - they were sponsored by Stewart Donald's company at the time - Simon backed Methven and Donald's takeover attempt of Oxford in 2011, but Lenangans Dad sold it to Darryl Earles instead.
This ex-Oxford connection seems to be gathering pace.

Methven - Donald - Lenagan - Scott.
