This is arguably Bowyers toughest period as manager. The spotlight is on him. Expectations are raised, I think unfairly.

The biggest issue this season was the summer. As recent Charlton transfer windows go, it was the worst for a long time. Total chaos.

For that reason I give Bowyer a free pass this season.

But I would say that

We need points soon, otherwise we will be reading about "the pressure on Lee Bowyer", and I don't mean ITTV. We had 3 good additions in January, maybe 4, which should make a difference. Williams, Maddison, Smyth, Bogle have all gone, this is Lee Bowyer's squad and the players have to step up to the mark PDQ.

I expect us to drop more points. We don’t defend well, whether that’s down to individual errors or not defending as a team.

The latter needs time on the training ground in my opinion.

Going forward we are better than we were before January.

So I expect plenty of goals in the final part of the season, therefore jinxing tomorrow’s match as a dour 0-0.

I've got to hope for a 0-1 win.

Can't hope to match Sandgaard's superhuman optimism (or delusion as it's known in some quarters)
but I can try to stay positve and let my heart rule my head :emoticon-0152-heart

Thomas Sandgaard is a hero for our Club.
I'll never forget what he has already done to save us from those thieves of ESI.
And I'll never forget who gave CAFC to those thieves, after separating it from all its material assets.

Yet there are courageous people working for our Club, who love it.
And it has thousands of fans who will defend it.
No amount of money can buy that loyalty.
