Glad to hear naming rights to the Valley are not on the table.

Even the Belgian and the fraudsters didn't think that one was worth pursuing.
And they were right.
I feel for fans who have to put up with stupid names for their grounds, even if they largely ignore them.
 
Sandgaard has given a really interesting interview with BT.

Main points -

  • He expects promotion this season. No ifs or buts “it is very simple, there is a lot of pressure on us to move up this year”
  • He is hands on every day running Charlton - including player deals. This might explain Schwartz?
  • He admires what Brentford have done and the model they follow - he has already had breakfast with people from that club.

Good news <ok>

Was it Richard Murray who decided to cut the womens' team loose to save a few hundred grand, after squandering millions overseeing Charlton's totally avoidable relegation from the Premiership?

Or am I holding that unfairly against him.

I believe you are right. I am certain they were scrubbed immediately we were relegated.
